We specialise in supporting boards and leaders of organisations to focus their organisation toward the future.
We assist you to explore what is working, what isn’t and ask those brave questions that will define where you need to go. We facilitate conversations to open your thoughts and actions to new possibilities.
Our work is inspired by the belief that organisations can achieve different or better results by looking at an opportunity or problem through a different lens. Often people use the same responses to situations and hope they get a different answer. We help you see when it’s time for a different question or perspective so your organisation can get the results you want.
Hi, I’m Carol Scholes, founder of Overview Effect.
For more than 20 years, I’ve provided hundreds of training and coaching sessions on governance and leadership. I work with organisations and individuals, in both profit and not-for-profit sectors across Aotearoa-New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific.
I specialise in helping leaders of organisations, both CEOs and boards, to understand their definition of success, and create tangible steps to build their effectiveness, systems and teams to achieve that success.
I work with a broad range of organisations and bring ideas, best practice examples and practical solutions to a wide range of situations. My super-strength is my ability to really listen and understand your situation. Then together we find the right solutions that suit your organisation and culture. My style is direct but supportive. I will give you an honest assessment of where you are at and what needs to happen next.
I passionately believe that exceptional leadership is necessary for an organisation to be exceptional in its results. I look forward to working with you
